Cod Au Gratin

Sometimes I feel the need to cook a meal, and I don’t mean your regular student meal. One such meal is possibly one of the few sea food dishes that I love, the reason why I love it is the gratuitous amounts of cheese involved.

Ingredients:

  • 2 1/2 cups of Fresh Cod fillet
  • 2 cups milk (make sure its more than 2%)
  • 1/4 cups flour
  • 1/4 cup butter*
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • As much grated cheese as you want. depends on how cheesy you want the sauce to be.. A combination of Mozzarella and Cheddar works.

* You can omit the butter if you do not want the dish to be fatty… just remember doing so might unleash the angry ghost of Julia Child.

A bite of Cod Au Gratin

This is what the final dish should look like.

A great way to woo that special someone. It works wonders.
